Jennifer Goin My Condolences January 6, 2012

I met Casey at my Job as a nanny. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Caseys passing.  I was honored to know her. She was ever joyful, helpful and loving.  I'm sure the world will never be quite the same without her. I pray Caseys family members gain peace.
Richard Amari She will be missed December 31, 2011

Ms. Casey was Victor's first teacher.  For two wonderful years, he experienced her overwhelming support and encouragement.  She cheered Victor on to each milestone.

Ms. Casey really enjoyed seeing Victor learn and accomplish class tasks and he responded to the challenge of guessing what was in the big blue bag or deciding what animal he wanted to be and what sounds it would make.

We loved her classes.  They always ran smoothly and professionally, but with a healthy dose of fun, laughter and singing!  I loved to sing along and there were times when Ms. Casey and I were the only ones!  I learned a lot from Ms. Casey as well.  She taught me to communicate more effectively, reminding me that kids are logical thinkers, and to be realistic and honest in the games we played.

Victor is very young and may not remember Ms. Casey, but he will remember the pride she instilled in him for a good try.  He will know that his first teacher was one of the best role models.

Goodbye Ms. Casey.  We will miss you very much.

To Casey's famiily:  Just wanted you to know that I share your grief in the loss of Casey.  I had the pleasure of knowing Casey through Gymboreet trainings that she attended over the years.  I enjoyed watching her grow into a stellar Gymboree teacher.   She had a special spirit, so vibrant, full of energy, life and love.  In the 2-3 times I was with her, it was quite clear to me how much she loved her son and family  (you were the center of her world) because she spoke of you so often.  She gave so much of herself to others.  I pray that you find comfort in the love she shared with you during her lifetime.  I know she will always be in your hearts.  She will always be in mine.

Miss Casey was great at the Gymboree. Benedict liked her a lot. I encourage others to give the Educational Fund for her little fella. alan
The Hogan Family Your Spirit Lives On! December 23, 2011

Our hearts are broken at the news of Miss Casey's passing. She touched our hearts and our lives in so many ways. Our son, Taran, adored her...as did we. Her smile was contagious and her laugh infectious. We pray for her son, Rasheed, her husband, her family and all those who knew and loved her. Please know that her spirit will live on in every little life that she has helped shape and in every little smile along the way!  We'll miss you!

Our son, Myles, is new to Island Creek elementary; and has the pleasure of being classmates with your wonderful son, Rasheed.  Since you left this earth, to return to Glory; our son has kept Rasheed at the very top of his prayer requests; and most family conversations!  He prays for peace and comfort for Rasheed during this most difficult time in his young life; and for him to smile again.  And while we know you and the heavenly host will always be watching over him; please know scores of other parents...students...and friends are doing the same.
Always in our prayers,
Eugene, Vanessa, Rachel & Myles
Jackie Lopez May the Lord bring you comfort. December 20, 2011

My daughter Adrienne goes to Island Creek and her and Rasheed were classmates in Kinder and 1st grade.  I met Casey a couple of times and she was such a nice person, full of life and you could just tell she loved kids.  You could tell that Rasheed meant the world to her.  I hope that in this hard time the Lord brings her family comfort.  Adrienne and I pray each night for Rasheed.  May God bless you.  Rasheed - your mommy will always be with you.
Coolick Family A beautiful soul December 20, 2011

Miss Casey was a beautiful person who will be greatly missed by the kids and parents of Gymboree. My son was in her Level 4 class and I was so impressed by Miss Casey's love for all the children and her enthusiasm for teaching. She always made sure to encourage every child and it made my heart warm to see her interact with my son. It was obvious that she had such a love for life and for kids. My heart goes out to her son and her family, she will be sorely missed.
The Lant Family We will never forget you December 19, 2011

My son, Barnaby, went to Miss Casey's classes since he was a year and half.  With her unique combination of boundless energy, a natural rapport with all children, firm and fair, she was quite simply the best teacher we have ever had the honour of knowing. She enriched my son's life in so many ways, and made me a better parent, I know we will never forget her.  My son was currently taking her sports class - she even gave him a digger toy as a reward for the first time he stayed in the class without me.  The last sport they played was tennis and he found tennis rackets at the store this week - for once, I succumbed, and Miss Casey, we will always think of you when we pick up those rackets.

We are desperately sad that you will never light up the room again, and devastated for your family.  The world is a darker place without you.

"There are people that cross our lives in tiny fractions of time, in the briefest of encounters; and yet, they leave an indelible mark in our hearts and our minds."

Badrah Narmeen You Will Be Missed December 18, 2011

My family and I are so devestated for the loss of our wonderful teacher, Miss Casey.  We adored her so much.  My parents and mother in law met her once, and they are even devasted!  She was so close to the heart.  Miss Casey had great energy, and she always paid close attention to every child as she helped each and every child with the obstacle challenges.  She truly cared.  I absolutely adored her when she spoke a few words of Arabic to my son! It was so hard to go to class on Thursday knowing that she was not going to be there. Gymboree will never be the same and we will miss you dearly Miss Casey!
