Amazing woman |
December 14, 2011 |
My son and I only had the privilege of knowing Ms. Casey for a month, but she instantly knocked our socks off. I couldn't believe how quickly she learned all the children's names. She was energetic, sincere, and a ray of light. We will miss her greatly. Our hearts go out to her family. Know you are in many people's thoughts and prayers.

In such a short time you made such a meaningful and lasting impression on our daughter Isabella. She always enjoyed seeing you and playing with you. We are forever grateful for the time spent in class. Thank you for lighting up Isabella's days for the past 2 years. If all of the kids adored you that much we can only imagine how awesome of a mother you were. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tragic time. Thanks for everything.
Love,

Beyond words |
December 14, 2011 |
My daughter Carolina Jane and I love Ms. Casey. She was a bright light and inspiration in both of our lives. We looked forward to seeing her every Friday and were sad the days we couldn't come to class. She shared so generously her positive energy, caring heart, and joyous spirit. She spoke often of her son and I always thought how blessed he must be to have such a wonderful Mom. We will miss her dearly and Gymboree will never ever be the same. We are truly heartbroken and not a day will go by that we won't remember dearly Ms. Casey. We will always sing and dance and laugh and play in her honor. Jane and Carolina Jane

We are thinking of Ms. Casey and her family during this sad time. Ms. Casey taught my oldest son for two years and he adored her. She was so good to all the children in her classes, always so genuinely happy to see each of them. Our hearts and prayers go out to her little boy - God bless.

It seems like yesterday I saw you at Sarita's father's funeral... We didn't get to talk much but all I can replay in my head; the moment you and your mom hugged me so hard and that was the last time I got to see your pretty smile... May God look over your son and family! RIP my dear
My deepest condolences to Casey's family and friends
Ms. Casey was truly one of a kind, and will be missed by so many. Many have used the word "Angel" to describe her
and I can think of no better term. She had an amazing way with the children she taught, as well as their parents ;)
She obviously loved what she did and most certainly loved and adored her family. My heart breaks thinking about the
loss you must be feeling, but I hope you can take some comfort in knowing what a truly amazing woman Casey was...
even to be cherished and missed by those who got to see her but a few hours a month. Thank you, Ms. Casey, for
being the wonderful person you were, and for the amazing legacy you'll leave behind.
I'm so sorry to hear of Ms. Casey's passing, I can hardly find the words to express how I feel. Ms. Casey was my son's teacher at Gymboree and he learned and grew so much during the time he spent with her. She was so patient, kind and loving that he really just blossomed from being a shy child that didn't want to try new things to being confident in his abilities and willing to try all kinds of activities. Even though his last classes with her were a couple of years ago now, he still remembers her and we'd always talk about her whenever we drive near the Gymboree he attended. Ms. Casey was a wonderful teacher with a true gift for working with children and I'm so thankful that my son and I were able to have her in our lives. My thoughts and condolences go out to her family.

Miss Inspiration |

I don't have a beter word to describe Miss Casey. She was such an inspiration! Her energy just made you want to play and play all day. Nobody sang like Casey, nobody could get kids as excited to learn as Casey. We loved Miss Casey. Our kids loved Miss Casey. I wanted to play like Miss Casey, be patient and fun like Miss Casey.
I am so sorry about her passing, but God knows all things.
We will miss her so much.
Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

You brought so much sunshine to others |

Ms. Casey has been my son’s teacher at Gymboree since he was 4 months old. She is the reason we’ve stayed enrolled for almost two years. Her enthusiasm, clear commitment, and loving approach with each and every child were so exceptional. She put enormous energy and dedication into her work. Anyone could tell immediately that it was not just a job for her. And, she was so very kind – both to the children and to their parents. She helped my son build confidence – and was incredibly patient and accepting when he’d go off and do his own thing rather than participating in group activities.
I loved that she had a beautiful voice. I remember thinking that she should do something in musical theater, because she was always on key and could sing so long without losing vocal power. No one could keep up with her. When I tried, I got a sore throat.
Her beauty went beyond her voice. Ms. Casey was a kind, warm, and loving person. She gave generously of herself to so many people. What an enormous hole she leaves behind in the world. My thoughts are with her family, and I wish them solace, healing, and eventual peace.
