Michael Family An Extraordinary Person December 19, 2011

We only recently met Ms. Casey, but we knew from the very beginning that she was extraordinary.  She was a wonderful teacher.  Even though she'd have to set up various things for the kids to do, she'd always be giving each one of them her undivided attention.  She had so much energy, and really cared for the children and families she taught.  Alexander learned from Ms. Casey, and so did his father and I.  We are very sad that she's gone, but she made an impression on many, many lives while she was here.

I wrote a post about Miss Casey on my Yahoo! blog. I want everyone to know how much respect we had for her and how much she meant to us. When we went to Gymboree the other day, someone else was singing the songs. I kept thinking I would hear Casey's voice. There was such a heavy sadness permeating the room. She was a wonderful teacher and we will truly miss her.

Janice Candelario and family Gone way too soon.... December 16, 2011

Dearest Casey,
Unfortunately I only met you a couple of months ago through Cub Scouts and when we did our camp out where I took that picture of you helping Rasheed tie a knot. I  deeply regret that I did not get to know you sooner/longer.  In the short time that I got to know you, I knew right way that you were a great woman and mother. We are going to miss seeing you at the Cub Scout meetings. Please know that you and your family are often in my mind and heart.  We pray that God will bless your family.
Amy & Eve You will be missed December 16, 2011

I always looked forward to Friday mornings because of Ms. Casey's class at Gymboree. It was evident how much she loved being around children and how much she enjoyed her job.  I think someone else wrote how she had the ability to make each child feel so special. It's true.
She had a gift. Ms. Casey will be missed greatly.

Unfortunately, my son, Alex, and I only had the opportunity to attend Ms. Casey’s class for a few months. But as testament to how warm and wonderful she was as a person, it only took that short time to develop a deep respect and affection for her. It was the simple things that stick out in my mind most, whether it was praising Alex for catching and eating a bubble, being the first to notice a child’s new hair cut, or always singing the Gymboree songs with pure enthusiasm and enjoyment – even though she’d probably sung them about a million times! We had our first class without Ms. Casey today. It just wasn’t the same without her, never will be. We miss you!! Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
